Kentucky Campus Compact (KyCC) is a statewide coalition of Kentucky colleges and universities, promoting college access, college attainment, and community impact. Kentucky College Coaches (KCC) program places peer success coaches in secondary/postsecondary institutions to support college & career readiness, student retention, engagement, and completion.  

WHAT ROLE DOES AN AMERICORPS KENTUCKY COLLEGE COACH (KCC) PLAY IN KY SCHOOLS?

• Near-Peer Mentoring
• College & Career campaigns (i.e., Social Media)
• Freshman Orientation programing
• Internship/Apprenticeship
• WBL programming
• FAFSA & College Application support
• Resume & Interview preparation 

KCC MEMBER REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with post-secondary education preferred
• Must pass background check
• Passion for supporting future leaders!

KCC MEMBER TERMS & BENEFITS

• Full-time (37.5 hours/week) coach;oneyear commitment (up to 4 years) term.
• Monthly living allowance of $1510 per month
• Assistance applying for Healthcare, Childcare & other supplemental benefits.
• Professional development training
• End of service Education Award (up to $6,000/year)
• College Access & Career Prep training
