JOB TITLE: 21ST CENTURY COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER TEACHER
REPORTS TO: 21st CCLC Director and Building Principal
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Kentucky Teacher Certification (Elementary).
- Experience with students in area of certification preferred.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Collaborate with Project Director, Coordinator, and school staff to ensure that data is collected regarding academic achievement. Perform support services to help students achieve productive learning experiences within the program plan. Provide academic, enrichment, recreational leadership and supervision to participants in the 21st CCLC Program.
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Basic computer skills including use of google, email, and websites.
- Policies and objectives of assigned program and activities
- Curriculum, instruction and assessment
- Record keeping skills
- Laws, rules and regulations related to assigned activities
- Oral and written communication skills
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the implementation of educational activities for the 21st Century Community Learning Center at Estes Elementary.
- Assist in curriculum development for the program
- Provide direct services in program as needed
- Assist program in working toward attainment of project outcomes
- Assure accuracy, quality and timeliness of required reports.
- Assure compliance with Federal, State and District policy administrative procedures and negotiated agreements.
- Ensure safety of students
- Reinforces learning skills as assigned
- Provide general supervision of students during all program activities.
- Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the Site Coordinator and/or Director.
- Implement academic activities as directed by Site Coordinator and/or Director.
- Assist with assessment of students’ progress as directed by Site Coordinator and/or Director.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Position is for Last Two (2) weeks in June
- Three (3) Hours per Day
- Four (4) Days per Week
- School year 2019-2020
